Abstract:
In the article Philosophy of international relations: social status, practical significance, the author emphasizes: theoretical premises, categories, areas with which
the philosophy of international relations has interdependent relations – the political
theory, ideology, axiology and methodology, the theory of international relations, international law, global economy. The functions of the new area of research are explained: cognitive, axiological, educational, training. An increased attention is paid
to the categories: sovereignty, dynamic stability of political systems, national interest,
social justice, peace, force, violence, tolerance, culture of peace etc.
