Abstract:
Tis article identifes and explores various innovative services and practices in modern libraries
that contribute to their reinvention, both in their form and missions, and in the way they are perceived and appropriated by society. Innovative services and practices are the key words of today’s
libraries. Changes in the electronic environment have affected libraries and led to their transformation. Te creation of innovative services in libraries around the world, are still in a extensive process
of change and modernization, a process generated by globalization, especially the challenges and
opportunities offered by the information society.
