Administrația publică din Republica Moldova în contextul proceselor migraționale

Abstract

The article analyzes the role of administration in the Republic of Moldova in the regulation of migratory processes. As one of the major subjects of migration policy are the central and local public administrative authorities, their work is investigated in the field of regulation and management of migration processes. It examines the normative-legislative and institutional basis of migration management and argues that the realization of the migration policy is the prerogative of the central public administration authorities in the field of migration in collaboration with other state and non-state structures. As a result of the analysis of documents and materials in the field, it is noticed that in the recent years, as a result of the social-economic transformations, the public administration reform, the issue of migration was included in the foreground on the national agenda. At the same time, governance needs to provide a clear perspective of country development, management of migration policies and processes to ensure citizens’ well-being.
