Identificarea instrumentelor legale de combatere a ameninţărilor la securitatea naţională cauzate de traficul ilicit cu materiale radioactive şi nucleare

Abstract

The subject of this article is the issue of illicit trafficking in nuclear and radioactive mate- rials in time in relation to the development of the national and international regulatory fra- mework to combat this phenomenon. The discovery of radioactivity has brought to huma- nity, besides benefits, major security threats. Crimes involving radioactive or nuclear material have a transnational dimension and international cooperation is imperative in counteracting them. In the Republic of Moldova, illegal activities involving the use of nuclear and radioactive materials are subject to administrative or criminal liability.
